Unreservedly committed to your success
Our ‘Staff’ here at Journey are the heartbeat of the facility
We consider them family and hope that you will too
Yonit has first-hand experience of being a wife and mother during Clive’s years in active addiction. This life experience coupled with her intuition and extensive professional training make her an exceptional counsellor.
Clive is a resilient and determined individual who has a wealth of life experience. His 16 years of sobriety and his wide-ranging experience make it easy for him to get through to his patients and assist them closely on their road to recovery.
Melandri brings 8 years of experience to the table, working closely with her patients. She loves watching her patients grow on their journey of recovery and is with them every step of the way.
AKA Dr Vusi to everyone at the facility is au fait with the addiction field as he has served as a doctor on call in this industry for many years. He is genuine and his patients are his top priority.
Patsy is on the ball and her attention to detail is apparent. Fondly known as ‘Aunty Patsy’, she often spoils the patients with her excellent cooking.
Thulani has worked in rehabilitation centres for many years. He is trustworthy, warm and upbeat. He takes pleasure in fulfilling all of our patients’ logistical needs.
Lindo is our highly experienced day nurse. She brings warmth and kindness to the treatment of all our patients

Eunice takes great pride and joy in preparing our patients’ delicious and nutritious meals. When you’re walking around Journey and have the urge to say “what smells so good?”, Eunice is responsible.
Themba ensures that our surrounds here at Journey are well-tended to. When he’s not ultra focused on the garden, you can expect him to flash a big smile your way.
Amos is always on the move at the Journey premises but to the amazement of our patients, he pops up right when the need arises. Whether its replacing a light bulb of their reading lamp or fixing a plug point, Amos is always there!
David runs a tight ship and maintains order and integrity at Journey. With many years of experience in the addiction industry, everyone at Journey is in safe hands.
After successfully completing their inpatient treatment, our patients often express how much they miss Khaya. Her bright smile and willingness to engage in a joke is not readily bested.
Lungiswa does our housekeeping. She has been part of the Journey family for many years and is our burst of energy on the days when we need it most.
Regardless of the magnitude of the problem, Siya tackles it head-on. He actively seeks out the extra mile.
