INPATIENT REHAB

TREATMENT
FOR DRUG AND ALCOHOL ABUSE

Inpatient rehab at Journey Recovery and Wellness Centre offers a supportive environment for overcoming addiction, trauma, anxiety, depression, bipolar, and other psychiatric conditions or destructive behaviours. Building self-esteem and self-respect in a caring, compassionate environment is crucial for recovery.

The inpatient programme, where clients stay at our facility for a designated period, offers full-time care and support, beneficial for those requiring a structured environment to recover from drug or alcohol addiction, psychiatric conditions, or damaging behavioural problems.

Our inpatient rehab provides dignified and respectful, non-punitive care, encompassing medical detox and supervision, intensive therapy, and counselling, creating a safe space where one can focus on recovery without the distractions of everyday life. This intensive approach is beneficial when starting the journey to long-term sobriety and a healthier lifestyle.

Stay connected—at Journey, you have access to your mobile phone, laptop, and other electronic devices and can keep in touch with your family, friends, and work.

Our Inpatient Rehab

Drug abuse can have devastating effects on health, relationships, families, and daily life. Residential care at Journey offers a way to overcome these challenges. It provides a stable, family home environment, free from the triggers and stressors of the outside world. Clients receive constant support and care, which is crucial for tackling the deep-rooted issues of trauma and addiction.

The structured environment of residential care contributes to a safe space for healing and growth, and coupled with longer programmes, increases the effectiveness of the rehabilitation process for lasting recovery.

Is Alcohol a Drug?

Many wonder if alcohol counts as a drug, and the answer is yes! It’s crucial to recognise that alcohol, like other addictive substances, can lead to addiction with significant health and social consequences. In our inpatient programme, we treat alcohol addiction like any other addiction.

Our approach to alcohol or substance addiction recognises the importance of addressing both the physical and psychological aspects. It includes medical detoxification, therapy, and support groups that align with our holistic strategy for recovery. Understanding that alcohol can be as harmful as illegal drugs contributes to a broad understanding of addiction. This approach is crucial for successful recovery and long-term sobriety.
